Leah Schmaman, In-House Artist/Designer
With a passion for fine arts and a love for architectural design, it’s no surprise that Leah picked up and moved across the country to join the dynamic Everything Creative Designs team. As their In-house Artist, Leah creates commissioned art for each staged home. With an exceptional eye for color, design and composition, each piece is carefully integrated with the “feel” of the home, creating a cohesive atmosphere that flows throughout the space.
Leah’s love of travel and the fact that she’s originally from South Africa means she can draw on much inspiration be it from past photos or a myriad of interactions with interesting people from around the globe.
“When I first arrived in the U.S in 2000, I worked for an architectural rendering company. It was the perfect experience for me at the time as it anchored all my inspiration and helped me express myself in new ways. I discovered a genuine interest in structural art and as I continued to learn, my experiences and personal history coalesced. Whether I’m staging a home or working on art to hang on its walls, I’m enjoying creating a story that evokes beauty, comfort and home.”
